We read “The Very Mixed Up Chameleon” by Eric Carle. Then we watched a slideshow showing how Eric Carle makes and uses painted papers when he creates his illustrations. Then we used painted papers we made earlier this year when we made circle painting murals to cut and make our own pictures. Students had lots of fun making their own mixed up animals!
